As a graduate and postgraduate in Sociology from ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Sociology at the same institution, André has authored several articles, primarily focusing on the dimensions of Political Sociology, Communication, and Culture.
He was the founding President of the Academic Federation of Lisbon and the national representative of university students in the National Council for Education.
He served as a Political Advisor to the Vice-President of the Lisbon City Council, specifically in the areas of economy and innovation, as an Advisor to the Secretary of State for the Prime Minister and Parliamentary Affairs, and as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State for Housing.
Currently, André is a Guest Lecturer at IPPS-ISCTE.
