Public Affairs Intern – Brussels 

The internship is based in our Brussels office. It will include policy research in the digital field, organisational support for various clients and support to the team in developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily work for key client accounts
  • Follow debates in the main European institutions
  • Prepare regular news reports and political analysis
  • Assist in the coordination and organisation of meetings or events
  • Attend conferences, seminars, hearings
  • Research on various issues, as required
  • Writing summaries on short reports
  • Follow the daily news

Your profile

  • You are interested in being on top of policy issues in fast-moving sectors
  • You have a passion for innovation and digital trends
  • You have a sound knowledge of the EU institutions
  • You hold a university level degree

Your skills

  • You have strong analytical skills and capacity to analyse and interpret legislation, rules and regulations
  • You have excellent written and verbal skills in English
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal and social skills
  • You are flexible and can handle multiple tasks independently

Practical Details

  • There will be an allowance of +/- 800 € per month
  • Full reimbursement of public transport
  • 1 day of vacation per month
  • Meal vouchers
  • The internship will ideally start as soon as possible for a period of 6 months
  • The office working languages are English, Dutch and French
