Following the launch of the Liberal Democrat manifesto on Wednesday, the Labour Shadow Cabinet travelled to Birmingham to set out their programme for Government, in a manifesto they described as ‘radical’ and promising ‘real change’.

With Brexit high up the country’s agenda, Labour looked to pivot attention to their radical domestic proposals, with the promise of nationalisation across five industries including water, rail and post, including their recent policy to roll out free broadband across the UK.

The pitch from Corbyn was positive, whilst pressing home the message that a Labour Government would not be afraid to take on the established elites.
