Experienced EU Digital Policy Consultant

The consultant will be based in our Brussels office and will focus on digital policy, especially on issues involving platform liability, competition and Artificial Intelligence. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with several multinational tech companies and would be involved in creating strategies for various digital-related policies as well as liaising and maintaining good relations with European policy makers.

Essential job functions

  • Identify policy opportunities and threats for our clients
  • Give strategic advice on current public and regulatory affairs issues
  • Investigate into political initiatives and identify existing and future trends
  • Communicate advice to key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Design Public Affairs strategies and engagement campaigns

Your Profile

  • You have at least 2-4 years of relevant experience in digital policy, preferably in institutions or prior work in EU public affairs
  • You hold a University degree
  • You have sound knowledge of the EU and its institutions
  • You are interested in being on top of policy issues in fast-moving sectors

Your skills

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with different personalities and develop a network
  • You have excellent written and verbal skills in English, other EU languages are an asset
  • You have excellent communication skills using tact and diplomacy with the capacity to explain complex issues clearly and concisely
  • You have strong analytical skill, in particular to analyse policy and legislative documents
  • You are flexible, well-organized and can handle multiple tasks independently, as well as work in a team
