Samantha is a writer and public affairs consultant who specialises in documentation, analysis, development and representation of stakeholder positions in multi-stakeholder Internet-oriented discussions.
After gaining an Honours degree in Arts, Samantha worked in a public relations department in local government. Samantha subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Information Technology and will soon complete her Master of Politics and Policy.
Samantha has represented and worked with the Internet technical community to develop community positions for intergovernmental Internet-related forums (particularly ITU and CSTD). She has also worked with governments at ITU and CSTD meetings who have needed on-the-spot background materials written to inform discussions on issues related to Internet technical matters. Samantha has also engaged with stakeholders in Internet governance—particularly governments and the technical community—at the OECD, Asia Pacific Telecommunity, ICANN and IGF.
