Autumn Statment 2014

By December 2, 2014EU

In advance of tomorrow’s Autumn Statement, Political Intelligence has produced a pre-briefing offering an insight into the announcements you can expect to see and a reminder of what happened this time last year.

The Autumn Statement will be the starting gun for the 2015 General Election campaign. The Conservative Party’s core message to voters will be stick with us and you can expect prosperity. Labour will attack the Conservatives for failing to deliver on their pledge to tackle the deficit and highlight concerns that economic growth is yet to benefit some parts of the population. The Lib Dems, meanwhile, will want to show the electorate that they have had a ‘moderating’ influence on their coalition partners and highlight, between now and the General Election, areas where the partners differ.

With 155 days to go until the General Election, Political Intelligence is able to provide insight and advice as the political landscape prepares for huge change in 2015. Please get in touch if you would like to know what these changes could mean for you. You can also follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn.
